We are thrilled to welcome over 700 female students from across Alabama to the 2024 GEMS Expo! This event, offered by the Alabama State Department of Education’s Girls Engaged in Math and Science (GEMS), is an educational experience designed to actively engage girls in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.

This event is based on an application process. Only teams receiving a notice of acceptance are eligible to attend.
